Exile from Tibet project

This is Sanguy, she came to Nepal seven years ago with her parents in the so called ‘third wave diaspora’. Her family had to leave after they received threats and warnings from the Chinese. She is currently studying English and hoping for an opportunity to go abroad and earn enough money to help other Tibetans and her monastery. “As a refugee here you have no job and no rights and that’s what makes me feel most in exile.”

This and many other stories and photos will be included in an upcoming interactive documentary project which is still in production. Watch this space.
