Record numbers of British citizens are leaving the UK. Immigration and the flow of people is one of the biggest issues facing the ‘developed’ world. But it is not just a one way street. This film is a lyrical document of the thoughts and feelings of seven British outflow migrants, their reasons for leaving the UK and their reflections of ‘home’.
Shown at the London International Documentary Festival 2008, at the BFI’s National Film Theatre as part of an Emerging Documentary Filmmakers programme, selected for the 3rd Aljazeera International Documentary Film Festival in Doha, 2007, included in the catalogue of MEDIMED doc market ’07 and screened at Cineclub Detour in Rome.
